Alternative Healing

The word Healing comes from the idea of return or restoration of wholeness.

Alternative healing, complementary therapies, all refer to healing modalities that work with spirit, nature, your own consciousness, energy systems, energy therapies to heal and restore the mind and body to wholeness.

In the past two decades or such, with the explosion of social media and smart phones, while we connect with friends, family and strangers Instantaneously, we seem to have become increasingly disconnected from Nature, Spirit—call him God, Goddess, Universe, Ancient Ones—from each other and even cut off from our true selves.

On top of it we are bombarded daily with endless information, overwhelmed by what we have to do to “succeed”, find love, find a purpose and meaning to our lives—in other words, we feel fragmented.

The symptoms are, at least a low-grade if not high, chronic anxiety, not enough self-confidence, low sense of self worth, feelings of shame, guilt, regret—all the dark stuff that would years ago require endless hours on a therapists’ couch.

We are all co-creators in our healing journey. I believe, true wellness is multi-dimensional, encompassing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects. “Make peace, with your pieces”, as R.H. Sin says.

In order to survive we learn to contort, suppress, cut off from who we were/are meant to be—soul healing happens when you connect and grow into your authentic self.
