Hi Everyone
So here I am feasting my eyes on the lush and emerald green paddy fields of Goa—the rains are constant these days and I believe encourage the peacocks to squawk every morning. Meanwhile the skulk of foxes continue as usual with their variety of bark/scream in my backyard every night.
I was sort of dreading being trapped and isolated in the rains here but so far it’s been a pleasant surprise.
Ok so to get on to the New Moon, the Sun and Moon conjunct on the 14th, in 21 degrees of Leo..even Mars and Venus are in Leo and except for Mars, the other three are trining Uranus in Aries.
In other words, this is a fantastic time for those who suffer from Low self worth, low self confidence, who feel shy about standing centre stage, being photographed, posting their pictures everyday on FB and other places, who can’t accept a compliment without feeling anxious, who keep thinking someday soon they’ll be seen for the imposters they are..you know the type.
Leo is the sign of royalty, of those who Love being centre stage, many have a strong narcissistic streak and can’t stand Not looking good. If a Leo gets legitimate attention for something they do, they can be incredibly generous with those around them. Otherwise, they tend to be weirdly insecure and jealous and will find the most convoluted and manipulative ways to get attention.
A Leo sunsign person or where we have the sign in our own charts (yes strangely enough we have each of the 12 signs somewhere in our charts)!, is where we need to have some kind of recognition, to be seen as special and get attention, to shine and bask in some manner of spotlight.
But for those with Leo not very prominent in their charts, in other words the usually shy ones, this month is an opportunity to discover in possibly surprising and unusual ways, what is it that makes THEM special. I truly believe that each one has something unique and unusual and different to offer—and also that by and large we are ignorant of what that quality is, or don’t respect it much and so cringe if we are given any attention for it.
And so oddly enough we start feeling a bit envious of the Leos who have No problem preening or accepting complements as a matter of course. Simple query to recognise this envy: how do you feel when you see another man or woman looking stunning in fantastic outfits, well groomed, tarted up and looking totally entitled and oblivious to your negative reaction to them.
So hopefully in this New Moon there’ll be a breakthrough—we will discover what makes us special AND/OR more importantly, what’s the painful belief and wounding that stops us from feeling special, no matter what we achieve! Even writing this makes my heart break a bit as in my line of work I am always dealing with people who hold such terrible self-beliefs.
So Do make an intention this month to feel deeply self-confident and self assured—not arrogant in a silly way but really deeply Knowing you are valued and loved and are special and have a unique gift to share with the world.
Also on the 11th, Jupiter left Leo and went into Virgo where it will stay for a year. So Jup. in Leo was a bit manic, grandiose and willing to take on all manner of risks (I did my para-gliding from a mountain top with Jup in leo, stroked a lion and a cheetah and so forth).
However, in Virgo Jupiter is grounded, paying a lot more attention to crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s. While in the fiery leo Jupiter gave us the gift of vision and imagination, it is the fastidious executor Virgo who will get the job done and turn the vision into a reality.
Pay attention to the small things you do this month—the smallest things that last month even seemed unachievable. All earth signs take their time as they execute an idea and if you are not that grounded you may easily miss what an achievement it is for the rest of us to accomplish such things.
For instance, my husband is a Virgo and a Banker! I am a Sag. specialist in Healing! So spouse looks on in amazement as I struggle with cheques and net banking and harass my bank people and such for a few days while trying to transfer some monies to a bank account in Delhi and when it is finally done, congratulate myself and feel satisfied.
Jupiter in Virgo is cautiously optimistic, reluctantly giving up on micro-managing, humility despite success, breaking up a big plan into little chunks.
Full Moon is on the 29th and on the 8th of September Mars in Leo trines Uranus in Aries—so for that entire fortnight (2-15) there is opportunity to jump into new activities, think out of the box, surprise yourself, take some action that challenges and breaks you out of self-imposed restrictions and beliefs that keep you boxed in.
So the message for this month is: find your speciality, praise and show some admiration for your own achievements, even the smallest ones and give yourself two compliments for every time you criticise yourself. And it’s a time to be a rebel—with or without a cause.
